It’s Christmaaaaaas!

December 2021

As well as bringing much needed quality housing to the Borough of Sefton, Sandway Homes is strongly committed to delivering wider social value to our residents and communities.

Each year, the Mayor of Sefton launches the Borough’s Annual Christmas Toy Appeal and thousands of kind-hearted Sefton residents, council staff, partners and community groups donate toys, gifts, vouchers and stocking fillers to some of the Borough’s most deserving but disadvantaged children making their Christmas extra special.

This Christmas, Sandway Homes, together with our partners Abode Group, Stanza Style, Barnfield Construction and Turner & Townsend, have been pleased to join together to support the appeal, focusing our gifts and donations on the Borough’s older teenagers who are often overlooked.

Sefton Grange gets the Green Light!

November 2022

Two huge events took place this month concerning our future Sefton Grange development in Netherton.

A revised scheme, comprising of 63 new homes, comprising of 18 stylish apartments and a mix of attractive two, three and four bedroom houses, has been awarded Planning Approval.

In addition, Sandway Homes received news that its new application to Homes England and the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority for £1.1m of Brownfield Land Fund has been successful.

Brownfield Land Funding assists developers overcome viability issues due to the complexities of developing sites which have had a former use and making them ready for housing development.

Sefton Grange will be sited on the former Z Blocks site, located on the corner of Northern Perimeter Road and Buckley Hill Lane with access via Higher End Park.  With views over playing fields and semi-rural land across to Sefton Village, this development offers the best of both worlds offering easy transport routes into Liverpool, Southport and for wider commutes via the M57 and M58.

Sandway Sweeps Up

November 2021

On 16th November, Sandway Homes and our partners, Turner & Townsend and Barnfield Construction, teamed up with Woodvale & Ainsdale Community Association on a project to clear and resurface the woodland paths behind the Community Centre.

Sandway is a developer that cares and it means great deal to us to be able to engage with community projects that benefit local communities and the residents living next to our developments.

We met some fantastic people while we were there and it was great to hear they felt the paths were safer as a result of our combined efforts.  We look forward to returning in the Spring to help again.

Huge thanks to Sarah and the team at Woodvale Community Centre for coordinating the activity and allowing us to help!

Sandy Brook takes on Street Scene

November 2021

The bottom of Meadow Lane, Ainsdale has now taken on an entirely different view.

Having acquired the former site of St. John Stone Primary School, Sandway Homes, with partners, Barnfield Construction, are in the process of building an attractive, exclusive development of quality 2, 3 and 4 bed homes.

With the first phase of homes due to be delivered in Spring 2022, the street scene has now completely changed.  Work is now progressing quickly at the front of our development and it’s exciting to see our first homes transition from plans to houses.

All our homes will contain quality fixtures and fittings as standard, a choice of kitchens and tiles – if reserved prior to build completion – and an electric vehicle charging point for the environmentally minded.

Over the next few months, we will be developing our show homes and sales area prior to the launch of our show homes in Spring 2022.

Sales Price Releases

October 2021

On 18th October 2021, Sandway Homes released the sales prices for its first phase of homes due to be completed.

With reservations already being made for off-plan sales, our first homes for still for sale at Sandy Brook include a number of 3 bed homes starting from £234,995, which will be ready for completion in Spring 2022.

At Hey Farm Gardens, we have a number of homes already reserved off-plan, leaving a limited a number of 2 and 3 bed homes from £189,995 ready for moving in during Spring 2022.

We will be soon be releasing details of our next phase due to be released early Summer 2022.

Show Homes with Style!

October 2021

The designs for our show homes by Stanza Style have created a buzz of anticipation in the Sandway office.

Pulling inspiration from the locations of our developments, Stanza have developed four distinctly different feels for each of our show homes.

Our main sales area will be focused at our Sandy Brook development in Ainsdale, with an Osprey, a Shearwater and a Wagtail fitted out for viewings.  A further show home, a Sandpiper, will be available to view at our Hey Farm Gardens development in Crossens.

Each home will feature an attractive colour palette and eye-catching rooms and features guaranteed to provide inspiration to all who visit.   With high quality fixtures and fittings, together with an attractive array of kitchens and bathrooms, these homes are sure to delight!

Due to open in Spring 2022, we hope you will visit and get a feel for life in a Sandway Home.

Hey Farm Gardens Rises High

We are extremely excited to see the progress at our Hey Farm Gardens development in Crossens.

Located next to the Plough Roundabout, this exclusive development of quality 2 bed, 3 bed and 4 bed homes is beginning to shape.

Located on the previous site of Hey Farm, this small development of 30 houses is nestled between existing attractive housing on the border of Sefton and West Lancs.

Redesigning Sefton Grange

September 2020

We have recently submitted a further planning application for our Sefton Grange development in Netherton to reduce the number of homes from 70 to 63 which will enhance the final development.

Offering 18 spacious one and two bedroom apartments and 45 attractive, contemporary houses, this development is based on the edge of Netherton, near to the historic Sefton Village with Jubilee Woods, the Leeds and Liverpool Canal and Cheshire Lines cycle and footpaths within easy walking distance.

Show Homes with Style

Sandway Homes is delighted to partner with Stanza Style for the design and fit out of our first four show homes across our Sandy Brook and Hey Farm Gardens developments.

Three show homes will be situated at Sandy Brook and a further show home is available to view at Hey Farm Gardens:

Plot 2 – Hey Farm Gardens – Sandpiper – 3 bedroom detached

Plot 38 – Sandy Brook – Osprey – 4 bedroom detached

Plot 39 – Sandy Brook – Shearwater – 4 bedroom detached

Plot 40 – Sandy Brook – Wagtail – 2 bedroom semi detached

Stanza Style will be inspiring their designs on features from the local area.  Following our first sneak preview of their designs, we are looking forward to revealing these fabulous show homes in February 2022.

Sandway signs with Barnfield Construction

Sandway Homes entered into contract this month with Barnfield Construction Limited for its first phase of development.

Ambassadors of the Considerate Constructors Scheme, Barnfield Construction form part of the Barnfield Group who are contractors, developers and investors based in the North West of England.

Sandway Homes has now acquired land for development at the former St. John Stone site at Meadow Lane, Ainsdale, shortly to be followed two more with land adjacent to the Plough Roundabout, Crossens and land adjacent to Buckley Hill Lane, Netherton.
